Think Make Do is a multidisciplinary design firm based in Boulder County, Colorado.  We serve a wide range of clients locally and internationally: from small one-person firms, educational institutions, state and local government, to Fortune 500 multinational corporations.

We design to support people. We work hard to understand the people our clients work with, and create communications and experiences that are relevant and meaningful in those peoples’ lives.

Michael Arnold Mages, Senior Experience Designer

Michael Arnold MagesMichael holds a Masters Degree in Digital Media from the University of Denver. He has been working in the field of web design and development since the late nineties, and has taught courses in research-informed design practice to students in business, computer science and fine arts at the University of Denver and the University of Colorado-Boulder and -Denver since 2001. Past projects have included a Systems Design and Branding project for Case Logic, a Design Systems Audit and redesign for the Denver Regional Transportation District, and an extensive Experience Audit and redesign of all customer-facing business processes for the Denver District Attorney’s office.

Michael has created and overseen the development of hundreds of successful design projects for Think Make Do: innovative direct mail campaigns, retail sales sites, college websites, and many, many websites promoting small and large regional businesses and not-for-profits.

Tarissa Arnold Mages, Director, Operations

Tarissa knows IT inside and out. She has worked in the technology field since 1996. With experience in database design and development as well as several years spent as an IT Manager, she implemented many web presences and overseen the hardware and software needs of many large businesses. She currently supports the technology and programming needs of Think Make Do, as well as being a contributing writer for several projects. Her most recent project was creating a marketing video for a indigenous-owned cosmetics company whose purpose is to use native plants from the Alaskan tundra to create high-end skin care products while supporting the subsistence lifestyle of Alaska Natives.
